Hiking the Syncline Trail in Canyonlands feels like diving straight into the park’s wild, folded geology rather than just viewing it from above. The loop drops steeply from the mesa into a maze of tilted rock slabs, boulder fields, and narrow drainages carved around Upheaval Dome, making the terrain feel rugged and almost primeval. The descent is demanding, with sections that require careful footwork and occasional scrambling, but the payoff comes in the quiet of the inner canyon—towering walls, scattered juniper, and a sense of deep isolation that Canyonlands does better than almost anywhere. Climbing back out is a lung‑burner, yet every switchback reveals another angle of the dome’s mysterious uplift, turning the entire hike into a full‑body tour of one of the park’s most dramatic geologic puzzles.

Elevation is intentionally exaggerated to highlight the dramatic contours and make the details visually striking. Each piece is designed and printed in my Colorado Springs studio using open‑source tools and my own creative process.

I will ship as soon as I am able. Expedited shipping can be available in certain circumstances (for an additional charge), however, many items are made to order and can take 1-5+ days to produce depending on design and print time. Shipping fees on Etsy can be a little clunky, so if you have a large order, contact me to negotiate correct shipping.

MATERIALS:

All models (unless custom request) will be 3D printed using PLA plastic. Please be aware that minor flaws are to be expected from the 3D printing process, especially on the bottom of the model. Many products are made using rainbow or color gradient filaments. This means that the color changes along the length of the filament roll and that colors may not be identical to those seen in the pictures. For a better idea of color choices, please see the color choice page on my website (www.3dadventureprinting.com).
