Corkscrew kicks things off with its famously colorful mountainsides—bands of red, orange, and gold rising around a road that climbs steeply in tight, exposed switchbacks. The views expand fast, giving you that “top of the world” feeling long before you actually crest the summit. From there, the route rolls through broad tundra and old mining corridors before aiming upward again toward California Pass, where the final climb delivers a dramatic reveal: Lake Como glowing below, jagged peaks crowding the skyline, and the whole basin laid out like a postcard. The combination of challenging terrain, big elevation, and nonstop scenery makes these passes feel like the pure essence of San Juan 4x4 adventure.

Elevation is intentionally exaggerated to highlight the dramatic contours and make the details visually striking. Each piece is designed and printed in my Colorado Springs studio using open‑source tools and my own creative process.

Expedited shipping can be available in certain circumstances (for an additional charge), however, many items are made to order and can take 1-5+ days to produce depending on design and print time. Shipping fees on Etsy can be a little clunky, so if you have a large order, contact me to negotiate correct shipping.

MATERIALS:

All models (unless custom request) will be 3D printed using PLA plastic. Please be aware that minor flaws are to be expected from the 3D printing process, especially on the bottom of the model. Many products are made using rainbow or color gradient filaments. This means that the color changes along the length of the filament roll and that colors may not be identical to those seen in the pictures. For a better idea of color choices, please see the color choice page on my website (www.3dadventureprinting.com).

They are also not recommended for use with animals, like as aquarium decorations, or for direct contact with food, like as cake decorations. Finally, they are not recommended for critical applications or severe environments. Do not expose to temperatures above 130F (hot car) or warping may occur.
